Common Mail Office

The Common Mail Office is responsible for:

  1. recording, distributing and filing all regular official mail for the Department;
  2. to record, distribute and file all the ordinary official mail that the Ministry sends to its correspondents inside and outside the country;
  3. overseeing the management of documentation;
  4. to ensure the proper preservation of the archives.

The Head of the Mail and Documentation Office is appointed by order of the Minister from among government employees in the B hierarchy or equivalent.
